Elizabeth and Josiah LOVE to draw. If I give them a clean sheet of paper and no instructions Josiah will come up with something abstract. Ellie, on the other hand, likes to draw more concrete pictures: princesses, pretty flowers, the sun & birds. Today I gave them marbles and paint and told them we were going to allow the marbles to go where they willed and see what came out of it. For Josiah it was nothing out of the ordinary, but for Elizabeth ... well, she did NOT like that idea at first. I talked to her about abstract art and encouraged her to give it a try. They both did great and enjoyed it a lot.
